Ready To Be Enchanted?
Introducing David Burnham
by our Music Guru Maureen ("Mo") Mahoney
Every once in a blue moon, there comes along an artist who with the very first breath of his voice, you know you've just stumbled upon something very special.
This is how I felt after listening to
David Burnham. David's Debut CD has placed him among a
group of singers you may have been searching for and
happily he has arrived on the scene to dazzle us!
One glance at the song tracks should alone inspire you to purchase this disc. David has a song for everyone. A few rarities from the Broadway stage, to the ever eloquent standards which stand the test of time. I was pleasantly surprised at how he presented these songs. I fell in love with the tunes on a new and powerful level. After hearing the vocal talent this man sings with, you will not only become mesmerized, you will realize the competition has just begun.
He has one of the most beautiful and sexy voices to ever come along, yet this man can belt out a tune (which will lift you out of your chair), while holding a note so long, and with such power, you will feel exhilarated from the energy exploding off this disc!
David's album was produced by LML Music.
Just listen to him as he transports you
with "Flight", an entrancing song so wonderfully
executed! From "Moon River" down to "Smile" you will
feel all your troubles fade away, although when you hear
David sing "Gypsy in My Soul"...if your anything like
me, you must get up and dance....you simply must!
The Broadway Show Tunes "As Long As Your Mine" from "WICKED" is truly a heart breaker and he easily slides into the category of "heart throb revisited". "Maria" from "West Side Story" was amazing in execution alone, while "Close Every Door" from "Joseph and his Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat" will only solidify this man's unique and dramatic talent. He is in a word...exceptional!
I needed to learn more about this man and his quest for success.
David was recently awarded "The Helen
Hayes Award" for Outstanding Performance by a Lead Actor
in a Musical, ("The Light in the Piazza"), a very well
deserved award. When you hear David sing "Love To Me"
from this show, you will witness passion and love in
their highest form. He can make you fall in love with
David Burnham has brought to the table a disc worthy of repeat listening. Just listen to the way he can capture these emotions and spin them into hours of excitement. He truly is blessed with a voice beautiful in tone and will convey to you the passion these songs long to be remembered for.
David Burnham is unique in style and no comparisons need be made. You will be listening to a man who placed these songs in their finest form, an accomplishment he should be very proud of, especially when you hear how polished his Italian is on "The Prayer". In this instance, you don't need to understand the language to know this man is quite moving. One of the most stunning songs I have ever heard.
Do yourself a favor and run to the store and purchase "David Burnham". Take him home with you and listen to the stories only he can weave. Truly listen to the remarkable range he possesses, for David not only sings the words, he becomes the main chapter in these stories. A rarity today!
